The Leader Upp Collective is a community extension of Leader Upp purposed to serve as a vehicle for Leader Upp’s mission to elevate and democratize leadership consciousness, competencies, mindsets and convictions in the real-world / marketplace. Think of The Leader Upp Collective as a space designed to awaken and empower the dormant leader in individuals.
A lot has been said about safe spaces. But people do not want to just feel ‘safe’. People deeply want to feel capable, courageous and equipped to face challenges and take the risk that life demands of them so that they can go on the adventure to which life is calling them. The Leader Upp Collective is the space for risk-taking and adventure towards the life that you truly desire.
The collective will hold biweekly events in chosen hotels around Kigali to provide individuals the opportunity to take the necessary risk to build their leadership capacity while pursuing the adventure the soul is calling them to. Join us today and reinvent yourself.

Name above title
All community members will go by their first names. Titles and job roles will only be a by the way. Names are more important than titles and represent people better than the passing job titles. In addition, we do not want to reinforce an identity that has been externally attributed which an individual may not deeply identify with.

Vision over CV
We don't care as much about what someone has done or where they have been as we do about where they want to go and who they want to become. Vision calls us forward on an adventure into the unknown. At The Leader Upp Collective we are leaders with visions. CVs show where we've been and what we've done or what happened to us. But visions show us where we need to be.

Questions over answers
We are a community of seekers with curious and searching minds. Exploring is at the heart of what we do. And good exploration starts with asking relevant questions. The principal object of our exploration is the self and its inner worlds that guide and determine our outward actions and interactions. Hence the greatest question: Who am I? will be our anchor.

The climb over the peak
It is more important to be actively making progress than to arrive at the proverbial peak. Great visions have no finish lines, only next steps. Therefore, we will never arrive and never settle. We are people constantly evolving on an upward spiral across the various dimensions of life.
