The Leader Upp Collective.
A community of individuals committed to transformational personal leadership and living with purpose — a space designed to awaken the leader within and empower you to pursue purpose, meaning, and your highest aspirations.
A space for the pursuit of personal leadership, purpose and self-transformation.
The Leader Upp Collective is a vehicle for Leader Upp's mission to elevate and democratize leadership consciousness, mindsets, convictions, and build leadership competencies as an integral part of society. The collective provides a space designed to awaken and empower the leader within.
A lot has been said about safe spaces. But people do not want to just feel "safe." People deeply want to feel competent, capable, courageous, and equipped to take on their dreams and the challenges that come with them. People want to take the necessary risk that life demands of them so that they can go on the adventure to which their soul is calling them.
The Leader Upp Collective brings together seekers and givers into spaces designed for risk-taking in leadership, communication and authentic expression in the pursuit of purpose, meaning and impact.
The collective holds monthly events in chosen hotels around Kigali to provide individuals the opportunity to take the necessary risk to build their leadership capacity while pursuing purpose, influence and building meaningful relationships. Join us today and reinvent yourself.
Community Pillars
Our impact comes from standing on these pillars.
Everyone can lead because everyone can serve. The more I serve, the more I lead. He who serves many, leads many and becomes great. Leadership is service.
My growth and leadership is all my responsibility, but it affects everyone around me. I drive positive change in my community by making myself better and leading myself.
To help a thousand, I must first help one — and it starts with me. To serve a thousand, I must first serve one. How I serve the one is how I serve the thousand.
Just as a fire needs fuel and attention to continue burning, purpose, passion, and leadership demand continuous commitment and nurturing.
To get results I must keep working, never giving up or settling. I keep searching, seeking, exploring, and climbing. No matter how many times I fall or fail, I rise up.

Community values.
All community members go by their first names. Titles and job roles are only a by-the-way. Names represent people better than passing job titles — and we don't want to reinforce an identity that's been externally attributed and may not be deeply felt.
We don't care as much about what someone has done or where they've been as we do about where they want to go and who they want to become. A CV shows where we've been; a vision shows where we need to be.
We are a community of seekers with curious, searching minds. Good exploration starts with asking relevant questions — and the greatest question, "Who am I?", is our anchor.
It's more important to be actively making progress than to arrive at the proverbial peak. Great visions have no finish lines, only next steps — we never arrive, and we never settle.
